RENTALS, GUIDED TOURS
TERMS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICIES

Primary renter must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid credit card. Renter will read and sign a rental agreement regarding care of people and equipment, damages and late fees.

There is a significant element of risk in any adventure sport or activity associated with the outdoors including rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, and camping. All adult participants in any rental party will be required to read and sign an Acknowledgement of Risk and Waiver of Liability form prior to renting equipment from Wild West Voyages. Minors will require a legal guardian’s signature to participate. Wild West Voyages recommends a minimum age of five years old for river rental participants.

Self-guided river activities require preparation on the part of the renter. Plan your route to account for distance, travel time to and from the river, seasonal flows, weather, the ages and experience levels of your participants, and other plans for your day. Always wear your PFD (safety vest), take food and plenty of water. As leader of this self-guided trip, you are responsible for your own safety and timing.

All rental prices are listed per day; sales tax will be added. Because we want to give you the attention you deserve, items are picked up at Wild West Voyages by appointment, usually before 10 am, and returned in good condition by 6:30 pm on the day they are due. Late charges are assessed after 6:30 pm at a rate of $20 per half hour per vessel.

TRANSPORTATION for BOAT RENTALS: Complicated logistics? Let us help! If you have one vehicle or no vehicle you will need additional help getting to the river and back with your gear. We can offer consultation on put in and take out points along the Colorado River near Moab. We offer one-way shuttle service for a fee, either at the beginning or end of your day. RENTAL PAYMENT POLICY: Minimum 50% deposit if booked more than 30 days ahead. All balances paid in full 30 days prior to pick up.

RENTAL CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: Wild West Voyages understands that adventure planning can be complicated. For this reason, we have established a lenient refund policy by industry standards: Rental deposits or payments will be refunded for cancellations received 7 days or more prior to the rental date, minus a 10% processing fee. Rental fees will be refunded for cancellations 2-6 days prior to pick up, minus a 25% processing fee. No refund will be given for rentals cancelled within two days of pick up, or for rentals returned prior to scheduled date, without exception. Always come prepared for what the great outdoors might bring! Guests who cancel due to weather do so by personal choice.

Rafting tours are available to guests ages 5 and 50 lbs and up. Kayaking tours are open to guests ages 10 and up. Paddlers ages 10-12 must paddle a tandem kayak with their adult. Stand Up Paddle tours available to guests ages 13 and up. All adult participants will be required to read and sign an Acknowledgement of Risk and Waiver of Liability form prior to participating in a tour. Minors will require a legal guardian’s signature to participate. River tour bookings are subject to a 3% land use fee. Return times are approximate and dependent on daily conditions.

Open to all ages. Guests must provide a car seat for children under the age of 8. National Parks tours are subject to 8.85% sales tax. All adult participants will be required to read and sign an Acknowledgement of Risk form prior to participating in a tour. Minors will require a legal guardian’s signature to participate. If you have a Parks Pass, please bring it with you!

Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to departure receive a full refund minus a 15% cancellation fee. No refunds within 48 hours of departure without exception.

We run trips rain or shine! Come prepared to embrace whatever adventure the great outdoors might bring! Wetsuits, booties, and splash jackets are available for rent for river use. For land tours please bring several layers of clothing. Wild West Voyages can only consult the same weather forecasting resources that the general public uses and cannot control or guarantee the weather on the day of your adventure. Guests who cancel due to weather do so by personal choice.
