RIVER TIME

I was once asked by a prospective employer, “What exactly is River Time?”
“Oh, that’s simple”, I replied
River Time is when you wake up in the morning and it is Time to make Time, so down the
river we go.
Then it’s just a matter of Time before lunch Time, and by that Time, it’s Time to spend Time
fishing.
Of course you know how Time flies when you are having fun, and before you have Time to
realize it, it’s Happy Hour, just in the nick of Time, because a person needs Time to unwind
from a Time filled day.
Dinner is served and eaten in a Timely manner and not wanting to be pressed for Time, I
like to bide my Time getting ready for the morrow, there’s no Time like the present Time, so
it’s soon Time to sit around and the campfire and talk about old Times before bed Time.

When you’re on River Time, Time is always on Time.

Well that prospective employer was impressed but nonetheless said; I’m sorry John but I
just don’t think I have a job for you.
Ah, he was such a nice fellow, so I thanked him for his you know what, and said “That’s all
right sir, I am a professional river guide and don’t want to waste anymore of Your Time.”
After that Time, I decided that life on the river was a pretty darn good Time after all
